Ingham's Enterprises Pty Limited is looking to employ a Production Supervisor at our Te Aroha Primary Processing Plant . As an essential part of the shift processing team, reporting to the Production Shift Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for the hands-on supervision of a processing team working to ensure efficient operation of your area of the facility.

In the role, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising the flow of product and processes
• Work planning and prioritising
• Cost control and labour efficiencies within defined areas
• Ensuring quality and food safety objectives are achieved
• Ensuring production costs remain within budget
• Assisting to coordinate maintenance of production equipment
• Recommending changes in production methods
• Assisting with developing and coaching employees
• Ensuring Work Health and Safety as a priority

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
• Excellent communication skills
• A strong ability to drive team performance
• Coaching and mentoring skills
• A thorough understanding of production areas
• The ability to manage daily requirements along with designated projects
• A focus on safety
• Proficient IT skills
• Experience in a food production boning environment
