THE COMPANY
This branded is known globally by professional Engineers for their range of industrial sealing products and related services. In NZ, their bustling branch based in East Tamaki, keeps our primary industries ticking over by providing a range of seals, gaskets and pressure critical components. On top of their range of standardized products, they offer repairs, refurbishments and made-to-order products for every application. Their well equipped workshop features a range of milling, turning and application specific CNC cutting equipment to meet the tight tolerances. 

THE ROLE
This role heads up an established team of Fitters Turners and Store-persons. In a typical day expect to set daily objectives, prioritize jobs, keep tabs on WIP and create new job cards. Your duties extend to workflow planning, procurement of materials and on-going development of internal systems / processes. Hours of work are 7:30am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Don't throw away your boots! From time to time you will have opportunity to jump on the tools and help the team in times of need.

REQUIREMENTS
This role is best suited to a trade qualified Fitter Turner with recent experience in management / team supervision. To be eligible for this position you must meet the following criteria:
  • Experienced machining seals / pump components to fine tolerances.
  • Experienced working with Kaizen / LEAN methodologies
  • Effectively read / interpret technical drawings
  • Computer / documentation literacy
  • Proven leadership
  • Strong focus on customer service
