Job Description Summary

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the production facilities under the direction of the Shift Leads whilst following established SOP’s. Maximizing plant output & increasing productivity whilst maintaining high safety & quality standards.  Proposing improvement ideas to Shift Leads & supporting their development.

Key Accountabilities and Duties

• Produce products as requested in production plan or as requested by Shift Leads, including - Preparation of materials, Producing product, Packing of product into final sales packs
• Operators are to ensure that products are produced as requested in the production/daily work plan, as efficiently as possible, following all relevant SOP’s & to the highest standards.
• Record Keeping - Ensure all production activities are accurately recorded (eg batch logs, pack down logs, etc).
• Accurately enter data into SAP
• Housekeeping - Endure that assigned work area are kept clean & clear access is maintained.
• Actively participate in workplace improvement programs.
• Continuous Improvement - Active participate in workplace improvement programs.
• Propose improvement ideas
• Ongoing EHSQ - Dedicated to adhering to EHSQ processes, systems and procedures. A safety first approach to everything at all times.

Minimum Required Qualifications/Skills

• Previous operations experience preferred
• Basic SAP knowledge or experience desirable
• Forklift licence (with F endorsement on drivers licence) – highly desirable
• Computer literacy preferred
• Attention to detail
• Has a safety first approach
• Proactive and willing to contribute ideas
• Team player
