Do you like a challenge, we are a in the midst of a merger between two Industrial/ manufacturing companies, with lots of projects and property consolidations to boot.  This is a critical role that reports to the Managing Director with a hands on performance responsibility for delivering on the property projects and transformational programme results.

About the role:

This is a pivotal position in our transformation journey.  This position is responsible for the coordination and programme management of a number of key projects.   Keeping tabs on the projects and the dependencies, understanding the people/ resource impacts and hot spots, clearly mapping out the milestones, overall timelines and the connectivity across other projects to arrive at a well-constructed and managed plan and programme execution will be required.  The successful incumbent of this role will work with subject matter experts/ senior leaders and stakeholders to both report/ coordinate and support the delivery of the overall programme of work in time and within budget.   One of the big-ticket items in this programme of work is property upgrades and moves, as such experience in this would be a plus.   All this whilst ensuring impacts are communicated across the stakeholders in the business, including the Senior Leadership Team and the Board.

About you:

  • The ability to develop relationships with stakeholders along with portraying excellent communication and influencing skills ensuring each and every stakeholder understand the interdependencies and supports the overall program management and reporting.
  • If you have plenty of experience in managing and coordinating, complex manufacturing and construction projects/ programmes of work.
  • Proven experience in managing significant capital investment projects of work and a good understanding of property governance, negotiation of exit strategies and negotiating new lease arrangements.
  • You will be someone who is financially savvy with a good understanding of numbers.
  • Have excellent understanding of process mapping and programme management which will lead to solutions.
  • Great communication skills are a must!
  • Be flexible, adaptable and keen to muck in and support delivery, both operationally and strategic.
