Seeking a Maintenance Programme Manager to join our experienced team based within the Northland Contracting Division in the Whangarei Depot.

The role

In this role you will be managing the Northland contracting’s delivery of the maintenance programme within the region.

You will be responsible for ensuring the faults and vegetation departments achieve all the safety, operational and performance targets.

You will be responsible for assisting other Managers and associated resources to deliver the maintenance programme. Regular reporting including monthly reports, significant faults, incident reporting and investigations.

Requiring excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills. You will be passionate about people and health and safety.

Being self-driven you will be able to move things forward and understand how to get others on board and wanting to deliver.

Duties

  • Co-ordinate the delivery of the Network Annual Maintenance Plan(s) to provide efficient use of company resources.
  • Translate the Network maintenance plan into an annual maintenance schedule
  • Ensure maintenance data is captured and stored in accordance with defined Network requirements
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget for maintenance services.
  • Ensure that all financial reporting and invoicing is completed
  • Vegetation, Faults & Retailer Disco/Reco work
  • Coordinate the review of, and compilation of feedback on, Network Change Requests
  • Adhering to best practice
  • Compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements

Skills and experience

  • Formal Tertiary Electrical Qualification required e.g. NZCE, NZDE, Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (advantage)
  • Network/Distribution contract experience
  • Field experience
  • Programme Management experience
  • Reporting and Analytics experience/knowledge (advantage)
  • Advanced analysis of relational databases utilising scheduling and statistical tools (advantage)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Health and Safety values
  • Full Drivers licence NZ class 1
  • Sound computer skills (Excel, Microsoft office)
