About the role:
We are looking for a Merchandising Executive to support our Waikato and Bay of Plenty merchandising business.
This is a permanent, full time position for a merchandising superstar with a passion for mentoring and training others with an interest to develop their career in the FMCG grocery industry.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, half of your time will be dedicated to merchandising and sales calls in your own permanent stores, and half of your time will be spent training new and existing Merchandisers to develop their skills as well as provide relief cover when merchandisers in the region are aware. This would see the successful candidate doing 20 hours permanent merchandising and sales calls and 20 hours training new and existing Merchandisers and merchandising cover. We are looking for someone who can be super flexible, who is able to work early or late hours, and has ability to lead and mentor our current Merchandisers.
This role is an ideal role for someone who is interested in developing their sales career.
We are looking for someone with:
- Merchandising and Sales experience
- Ability to coach, train and mentor the team of part time Merchandisers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office.
- Have full, clean car driver license
- Available to work in early morning and late nights.
- Fit and healthy.
- Honest and reliable.
