We specialise in selling electronic cigarettes (vapes), which will need to interest the successful candidate, as this requires extensive product knowledge, excellent information retention and an open mind.

THE ROLE - STORE MANAGER BAYFAIR MALL

As the store manager, you will bring your energy and enthusiasm to this role, and with your experience and motivation, you will help contribute to the positive introduction and success of this store. As this is a brand new store, our sales people will need a reliable, dedicated and committed leader to guarantee a smooth operation is withheld and the salespeople are driven to success.

 

Trading solo and within a team, a great use of initiative, confidence, alongside a passion for interacting positively with our diverse range of customers will contribute to the success in this role.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the day to day operations
  • To effectively manage all aspects of the store
  • Focus on increasing turnover and maximizing profitability
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Confidently managing the team
  • Reaching daily and weekly targets
  • Continually improving on product knowledge
  • Practicing excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional time management skills upheld
  • Conducting all customer enquiries in a professional manner
  • Outstanding communication with HQ sustained

Reporting to the Regional Manager - other general responsibilities include:

  • Staff training, development and on-going support ensuring all customers receive an excellent shopping experience.
  • Planning, forecasting and anticipating sales, costs and shop performance.
  • Attendance at meetings and contribution to company progress and future.
  • Showing staff how to increase their sales by being a leader on the sales floor.
  • Ensuring all policies and proceedures' are adhered to.

 

ABOUT YOU

Whist representing yourself in a presentable manner, you will have at least two years management experience in either retail or a sales/service industry. You are a clear thinker with a positive, can-do attitude.
No doubt you possess superior customer service skills with the drive and tenacity needed to deliver results. Your exceptional communication and well-developed interpersonal skills will allow you to build effective and successful relationships with customers so you can deliver impressive results.

To succeed, you need to be assertive, pro-active and self-motivated, and able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast paced environment. Above all you will have the right character, personality and drive to become a valued member of a soon to be high-performing team!
You may be currently employeed but thinking about shifting to something a little exciting and different.

+ Must be over 18 years of age and comfortable selling age restricted items responsibly.

This is a full time role of five days across Monday - Sunday, and as the store is a 7 day operation there is an expectation to be available to staff during the evenings and your weekends. Flexibility is a vital key to this role.
