Assistant Store Manager- Te Rapa
Our flagship Te Rapa store seeks a highly experienced retailer, to inspire and lead a team of Sales Managers as well as a number of specialised sales consultants. We'll expect you to identify areas and opportunities for improvement, drive a culture of world class customer service, and take the business forward through expert leadership.
This is a high profile senior role that will see you set the direction required to enable great performance, not to mention develop and encourage the same commercial focus in your managers.
To be successful in this role you will need a passion for providing outstanding customer service, the expertise to coach and mentor large teams, and the desire to be part of a senior management team constantly striving for success.
We are seeking a someone who:
- Has a strong focus on providing and driving exceptional customer service
- The ability to prioritise workloads to effectively meet deadlines
- Previous experience in managing large teams of 60+ in a large format retail environment, or in a multi-site management role
- Has experience in motivating a management team within a challenging and fast paced work environment
- Has strong leadership skills in coaching and mentoring a high performance sales teams
This role is all about motivating and inspiring your managers and team to provide an outstanding customer journey. Passion and knowledge of fashion, homewares and lifestyle categories are a must. You'll have an expert eye for detail, know what is trending in retail, and how to provide an outstanding customer experience through visual merchandising.

This role is for 80 hours per fortnight
