We are seeking an experienced Communications Advisor to join this Crown Entity. You will be working within a small Communications team providing effective comms advice to support the business.
Responsibilities will include:
- Strategic communications planning, delivery and evaluation
- Providing advice to the Chief Executive and General Managers relating to issues management, reputational risks and proactive communications opportunities
- Strategy development of the media profile
- Dealing with media queries
- Development of forward thinking social media strategy
- Advise and develop contact, copy writing and editing for websites
- Writing, editing and proofing reports
- Working with technical teams to produced information that is simple to understand and engaging to read
We are looking for someone who is a self starter with commitment to delivering quality service. You will have savvy editorial skills and the ability to understand complex issues and translate technical information quickly into plain English. You will have strong systems skills and a good understanding of using social media to advance an organisation’s profile.
