Due to new client wins, Undertow Media has an opening for a communications professional to work on our client mix that includes Roadshow Films, Alibaba, Better Burger and more.

We're looking for someone with minimum 4 years communications experience who is not only creative, concise and super organised, but also ambitious and knows what it takes to achieve amazing results.

You will need a solid understanding of how the media works, a network of media contacts, top-notch written and verbal communication skills and be completely across social media.

A positive attitude and passion for professional development are prerequisites. Other attributes the successful applicant should possess include:

  • Budget management experience

Major responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day client activity and contact
  • Assist Directors with ongoing, regular client contact to ensure client needs and requirements are met
  • Establish and maintain appropriate, ongoing client relationships
  • Attend client WIPs and meetings 
  • Produce work that is of the highest standard at all times, to ensure client is receiving best practice work
  • Assist with strategy plans incorporating new initiatives and best practice
  • Lead regular work in progress meetings
  • Manage client budgets and monthly disbursements
  • Develop key client/account related materials
  • Copywrite and edit media materials and presentations 
  • Assist with event management
  • Provide creative and constructive input to proposals, brainstorms and meetings
  • Assist with research and composition of materials for proposals, client and company materials
  • Manage junior staff including reviewing of work and providing guidance and feedback
  • Commit to personal and professional development
  • Be a team player at all times
