Victoria University of Wellington is looking for a Senior Communications and Marketing Adviser to support Victoria's new and rapidly growing Faculty of Health.

This recently established role is responsible for assisting with external and internal communications and engagement for the Faculty of Health. Working closely with senior staff in the Faculty, you will develop and implement communications, marketing and engagement plans to support the growth and profile of the Faculty.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a Faculty that brings together leading researchers and teachers from across Victoria University, to help prepare the next generation of health sector professionals to make a difference to New Zealanders' health and well-being. You will also be working with a team of communications, marketing and engagement professionals who are experts in developing a range of materials, written and digital, and use a variety of channels to engage with key audiences.

To be successful in this role, you will be a communications and marketing professional with experience in generating and managing content for multiple channels. You will have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and build a network of strong relationships. This role would be ideal for a communications and marketing practitioner with ideally four to five years' experience, who is looking for a new challenge.

This role is based in the Faculty of Health but will maintain relationships with a number of key groups within the University, and will report to the Associate Director Communications. You will be part of a supportive team that values innovation and learning.

This role is part of the University's wider Communications, Marketing and Engagement Group. The Group leads the University's internal and external communications, marketing, engagement, websites, alumni relations, publishing and events initiatives. The Group communicates with more than 2,500 staff, 22,000 students, more than 110,000 alumni and a diverse range of external stakeholders.
