About the opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Social Media and Content Coordinator to work alongside the amazing marketing team in delivering top-class work for the group. The role will be instrumental in managing the company's social media platforms.

On a day to day, the successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Maintaining an active social media presence for the multiple businesses across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snap Chat and Pinterest.
  • Actively engaging followers and identifying opportunities for audience development.
  • Developing influencer outreach efforts including influencer key relationships.
  • Monitoring effective benchmarks for measuring social media campaigns impact. 
  • Creating engaging original content and source user-generated content in a variety of media types to reach target audiences.
  • Utilising best practices in writing content for SEO

Critical for success is ability to take on the role and making it theirs according to the set objectives. Of course, it would help if you  have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Communications and Marketing or relevant Digital Marketing qualification or a relevant industry experience
  • At least 2 years experience in digital marketing or social media marketing
  • Proven ability in growing social media audiences across multiple platforms
  • Experience with social media monitoring, publishing and reporting platforms such as Hootsuite and Sprout Social
  • Experience in copy writing and content development for social audiences and SEO
  • Ability to demonstrate winning Social Customer Service techniques such as empathy, patience, advocacy and conflict resolution

*Note that this is 30-hour per week part-time role.
