We are looking to appoint a Maintenance Manager to join our wider Hotel team. This is a diverse hands on position that requires excellent organisational and planning skills. Reporting directly to the General Manager your ability to follow, develop and implement preventative schedules will form an important part of the role.
Ideally you will have a certificate or extensive experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Building Repairs
- Plumbing
- Electrical Systems
- General Property Maintenance
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate initiative and be able to work autonomously
To be successful in this role you must be a self-starter that can work unsupervised and be capable of general maintenance and painting duties. Previous experience with the Setpoint Building Management System would also be advantageous. The role also requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including an on-call element to deal with matters as they arise.
Applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand and have excellent written and spoken English.
