Field Service Mechanic

An exciting opportunity exists in for a Field Service Mechanic to work in Reefton working on the latest construction equipment in a field setting, and develop your career, knowledge, skills and experience further within the heavy diesel industry. If you're needing to be based in Greymouth we have options available for this.

As the NZ dealer for Volvo, Yanmar, Allison, Perkins, Kohler and other, you will work with leading edge products within our industry. This is a field service role, and the successful applicant needs to be a self-starter, who is able to operate autonomously as well as within a great team.

Displaying a high level of initiative and problem solving skills, you may have used electronic diagnostic equipment in previous roles. You will also have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to convey technical information across different business units and levels of the company. Along with your technical know-how, you will be a competent computer user, preferably in MS Office.

As Health and Safety is paramount in this industry you will be up to speed with best practices and be able to demonstrate this in your work habits. This knowledge will help you to promote the company image in a professional manner as well as provide first class customer service.

This role also offers relocation allowances a yearly Isolation allowance and an hourly branch allowance.

You must hold a relevant Qualification with experience in heavy diesel and construction equipment.
