It's a New Year – Time for a fantastic new job!
MTS has been in the Painting industry for over 60 years and has developed a reputation for quality workmanship and high level finishing.
We have just taken on a number of new contracts we're looking for full time employees (permanent or fixed term) and/or fulltime independent contractors join our team this year.
What you must have:
- At least two years of full time experience in a the professional painting role
- Be capable of working within a team
- Be polite and professionally presented
- Can be relied on to get to work on time, every day, with the right gear
- Can pass full police checks and random drug tests
- Current visa or work permit for at least 20 hours / week
What you might have:
- 5+ years painting and decorating experience
- Formal trade qualifications
- Specialist skills e.g. working heights, spray application skills, skimming and plastering, fibrous plastering, wall papering.
- Demonstrated team leadership or foreman experience
- Other skilled painters who want to join MTS - if you rate your team, bring them with you!
- References from employers, commercial contractors and/or clients
- Excellent communication skills and/or client handling
- Extra Languages (Tongan, Samoan, Thai, Fijian, Arabic, Hindi, French?)
- Site Safe
- Your own painting tools and personal protective wear.
- NZ Citizenship, residency or permanent, unrestricted right to work in NZ
