As a Xero Partner Consultant, you’ll become a key player in our Xero Partner Consulting team.

Our Xero Partner Consulting team works with accounting practices across New Zealand to educate and provide ongoing consultative support to our accounting partners on all things Xero. We’re looking for someone with a gift for mentoring and a love of helping others to join the team!

Your role will be to help onboard and upskill our awesome new Xero Partner firms and help educate and assist practice accounting teams to effectively transition to Xero.

You will do this by:

• Working closely with our product & sales teams to get a great understanding of the product
• Working closely with Xero Partners to understand their needs as they start and build on their Xero journey
• Creating and running on-site partner training and webinars across our product offering
• Responding to queries and offering phone and email support as needed
• Running training sessions with our partners as new features become available
• Help manage Xero practice implementations in New Zealand

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who has experience working in a CA practice and who enjoys working with people, helping them learn and has a great base knowledge of accounting and how accounting firms operate. But most of all we’re looking for someone with passion and enthusiasm for our product and people who wants to join the team and build a career at Xero.

To be an awesome Xero Partner Consultant you will:

• Be a fantastic communicator, and enjoying working with others
• Enjoy teaching and be able to craft relevant educational materials
• Be a good public speaker, able to get up in front of a small group and talk engagingly
• Be open to traveling nationally to client sites and events as needed
• Have a passion for Xero and helping transition businesses to our beautiful accounting and practice management software
• Have experience working in an accounting practice and a good understanding of accounting principles
