Our client based in Coolaroo operates a busy recycling plant, turning waste material into commodity. They urgently need a fitter and turner/welder for night shift. The position will involve repairing and maintaining fixed plant, i.e. conveyor belts and repairing tears and replacing bearings. This is an ongoing position and an immediate start.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications are mandatory
- Welding licence
- Efficient and effective workmanship
- Be physically fit
- Communicate well
- Be available at short notice
- Be reliable and committed to your work
- PPE (long pants/sleeves, high vis top and safety boots)
- Ability to work in an environment that's challenging
