About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced Production manager to join a well established client based out of the western suburbs.Starting ASAP, the Production Manager is responsible for leading and driving the maintenance operations to execute contracts. You will plan, develop and manage budgets whilst being responsible for leading cost-saving and maintenance initiatives.
About you:
- You have experience working in the locomotive or in the heavy industrial industry
- You have 10 - 15+ years experience leading and managing 20+ people
- You hold a Trade, Engineering or Business qualification
- You have excellent leadership, team building, communication & presentation skills
- You have demonstrated the ability to manage a production facility, delivering projects on time & within budget
- You have the ability to make critical and timely decisions in difficult situations
- You have an exceptional focus on safe work practices and an understanding of the site EBA and IR
