ALL PURPOSE PUMPS, HOPPERS CROSSING - TRADES ASSISTANT (2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE)

• $50-60k per annum (includes overtime and super)

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from suitable applicants who are passionate about pursuing a career as a Trades Assistant in the Pumps and Plumbing Industry.

With over 25 years of proven application experience and a dedicated product development and innovations team we have the resources to deliver the best and most up-to-date solution for almost any given scope - from single services to complex turn-key solutions and detailed custom-built projects.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

This position will assist our On-Road Service Technicians and will be educated in all parts of the assembly, installation, and repair of pipes, fittings, or fixtures of pumping, heating, water, and drainage systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To undertake work in a constructive, positive, and quality manner while following the instruction of experienced Service Repair Technicians.

TRAINING

Specific training will be provided in the assembly, maintenance and repair of Pump Systems including Fibreglass Packaged Sewer and Stormwater Pump Stations, Rainwater Reuse Pressure Pump Systems, Cold Water Pressure Booster Pump Systems, Fire Booster Pump Systems, HVAC, Trade Waste Interceptors, tanks, pipework, valves, fittings, filters, ultraviolet disinfection units and controllers. Gain basic electrical knowledge to wire pumps and filters into Controllers. Test systems to ensure free from leaks and correct operation. Contribute to Lean principles and company expectations around presentation and cleanliness.

SELECTION CRITERIA

• Must have mechanical and electrical aptitude. (All short-listed applicants will be tested for Mechanical & Electrical aptitude)
• Suit new or recent entrants to the workforce

National Police Records check will be conducted. Successful applicants will be required to provide certified copies of academic and other qualifications. Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid permit or visa.
