ABOUT US:
We are a small yet competitive player within the commercial landscaping sector working predominantly from the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The bulk of our work is commercial however we do some residential landscaping from time to time.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are currently seeking a dedicated, reliable employee to join us as an apprentice landscaper. Duties will include, however are by no means restricted to the following;
- Preparation of a site for landscaping
- Importing of topsoil
- Irrigation works
- Planting of trees and shrubs
- Mulching
- Paving
- Turfing
- Retaining wall construction
- Weed control and maintenance
- Clean up of site after completion
- Skid steer and excavator operation (the successful candidate will have the opportunity to obtain these licences through us)
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful we are seeking a highly reliable, dedicated employee that wants to learn and grow within our business. You will be willing to complete an apprenticeship and attend trade school when required. You will possess a can-do attitude and have a current drivers licence. Experience within landscaping would be beneficial however not essential. The successful candidate must enjoy working outdoors and in many weather conditions.
In return for the above you will be rewarded with great working hours 7am – 3pm (6.30am – 2.30pm during summer), the ability to complete a trade, comprehensive on the job training, above award pay rates (once apprenticeship is completed) career stability, and many other added bonuses.
