About the role
- The candidate is expected to be well equipped with a comprehensive set of tools to complete all carpentry tasks, with at least 5 years relevant experience.
- Carpenter & Apprentice team will be considered
- Tasks include :
- - Timber frame construction
- - Lock up & Fix
- - Demo and removal of load bearing walls, brick walls
- - Reinforcement of pitched roofs, pitching roofs to match into existing
- - Able to work in a small team, as well as individually
- - Have and eye for detail and producing work to a high standard
- - Hold the appropriate tickets for the building and construction industry, Applicants must have constructions induction card (white card or red card)
- - Carpenter to be in regular communication with project manager

Skills and experience
- QESTBUILD are looking for CARPENTERS who are like minded and who have a keen eye for detail in custom/quality work, with experience in renovations and extensions, capable of pitching roofs and tying in new roofs into the old.
- We pride ourselves in our customer service and safety standards. It is essential that you have a comprehensive understanding of sound safety practices, that you are well presented and have a polite manner.
- The candidate must work well with other team members and be open minded to new or different ways to apply carpentry skills.
- It is a must to have a reliable maintained working vehicle, and all tools necessary to complete a frame, lock up and fix
