Happy Power and Lighting's continual growth within our Roads and Infrastructure Division, has resulted in multiple positions becoming available for Qualified Electricians - with experience in ITS, Traffic Signal Works or Road Infrastructure. On offer are Permanent Roles, based out of our Northern Suburbs depot, working in and around the Perth region.
Your role will involve the construction and delivery of multiple assets whilst adhering to MRWA -specific (technical and drawing standards) as well as Happy Power and Lighting work practices. General duties may include;
- Installation of Traffic Signals and Street Lighting.
- Various ITS Works (Variable Message & Speed Limit Signs, Help Phones, CCTV, Radar).
- Network Integration.
- Fibre Network Installations and Upgrades.
- Associated Works (Testing and Commissioning, Pit and Pipe install, Cable Hauling, Fault finding, footing installations).
As a proactive self-starter, you will carry out all activities in a safe and efficient manner ensuring the safety of yourself, pedestrians and motorists in a challenging environment. Your high attention to detail and teamwork with ensure that you succeed with us.
To be successful in your application, you will possess the following skills/qualifications;
- Qualified Electrician, current WA Electrical License.
- IT/Computer proficiency.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within the ITS, Traffic Signal Works or Road Infrastructure field.
Further tickets and licences such as HR Licence, Cabling Licence, Supervisor Licence, Fibre and Communications accreditations will be highly regarded. Please note that works may be scheduled for either day or night shift depending on the scope of current works. There is potential for overtime.
