Looking for a full time nanny and housekeeper for 3 children. Youngest is a 3 year old boy who is in kinder Monday and Friday. Both older children are girls, aged 5 and 9 and are in school. All 3 children attend the same school.
A typical week is as follows:
Mid day start on both Monday and Friday in time for school pickup (3pm) until approximately 6pm.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are generally a morning start of about 9.30am to care for the youngest until approximately 6pm.
Although this is what the general week looks like, we are looking for flexibility as some weeks will require much earlier start and occasionally later finishes.
The job will include school pick ups and occasional drop offs, taking the children to extracurricular activities, making dinner, feeding and bathing the children each night as well as reading with occasional bedtimes.
As well as general child care duties the applicant will be required to perform general household duties including;
- washing clothes
- changing, washing and making beds
- ironing
- sweeping, mopping, dusting
- cooking
- keeping the overall house tidy
- supermarket shopping
- any other housekeeping jobs as needed
We are looking for someone who is firm but fair and kind with the children and who is highly organised, reliable and proactive. We are looking for someone who is looking for a long term role with a minimum of a one year commitment.
