Huge scale engine re-builder company seeking a casual employee who wants a new challenge to prove themselves
Your new company
Are a leader in the power generation industry, specializing in the supply of diesel, dual fuel and gas engines, they are a global company and are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join their Sydney office
Your new role
We are looking for an experienced diesel mechanic who has worked on heavy duty, high speed train and boat diesel engines. If you have experience working in the marine space this would be highly desirable. 45+ hours a week with overtime rates you will be learning everything there is to know about engine rebuilds and overhauls of high powered diesel and rail engines and everything in between.
What you'll need to succeed
Heavy vehicle trade qualification, experience working on high speed engines EXB2 for trains and diesel engines would be highly regarded but any candidate in the heavy vehicle industry who is happy to work full time casual for two years are welcome to apply. The role has allot of hours to work and gain experience and the right candidate will be considered for permanent positions in two years time

The current workshop is excellent, with all the equipment required to do the job at hand (less your tools) but they are soon moving to a purpose built workshop out in Yenorra which will be to the highest spec and industry standard.
