Mark Tuckey is a bespoke furniture manufacturer and retailer, who make solid timber furniture from recycled and sustainable timbers. Our aim is to create iconic furniture that is built to last. We love what we do and take pride in every custom piece that we make!!!
A position has now become available for a qualified Furniture Maker to join our amazing team at our Thornbury workshop.
In this role, your duties would include: timber selection, panel work, ripping and joining tabletops, cutting joinery and making customer furniture from start to finish.
The successful applicant will need to have at least 3 years experience in furniture making. This includes extensive use of a panel saw, thicknesser, buzzer, wide belt sander and all hand tools necessary to make solid timber furniture.
You will possess the following skills:
- an ability to work well with others and autonomously;
- achieve KPIs by working to weekly schedules
- read and follow plans
- eye for details and quality workmanship
