Essential Requirements

• Trade Qualified Automotive Mechanic (Heavy Road Transport)
• Previous experience with the servicing of fuel trucks & or SLP inspections will be kept in high regard.
• Attention to detail, dedicated leader who is able to manage his own work scopes.
• Proven diagnostic skills using TEXA or similar electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of ABS/EBS systems with diagnostic skills using Wabco, BPW & Knorr-Bremse electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of Mack/Volvo, Western Star & KW will be kept in high regard.
• Previous experience using Brake Roller Testing systems.
• Diagnostic knowledge of CAT, Cummins & Detroit Engines  will be highly regarded.   
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Excellent time management skills & ability to plan your workload & required parts.
• Minimum 3 years post trade experience.
• Dedicated commitment to Safety & Quality Assurance Policies.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Good Communication skills - Both Oral & Written.
• MC/HC Drivers Licence or willing to obtain.
• Proven work history within the Heavy Vehicle repair industry.
