About the company

Our client is a well-known construction company in the Newcastle & Hunter region that has completed over 2,000 construction projects.  Due to increased growth, our client is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Electrician with proven experience in maintenance and servicing to join their busy team.

About the role

• Perform servicing and maintenance
• Undertake faulting finding and breakdowns
• Industrial and construction work
• Training provided

Skills and experience

• The successful applicant must be a qualified Electrician with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the commercial and industrial building industries
• Have a Current Electrical Contractor or Electrical Supervisor license
• OHS General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Current EWP licence (boom and +11m)
• Current Safe working at heights ticket preferred
• Current driver's license
• Be honest and reliable
• Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills and a great work ethic
• Pass a drug and alcohol screening, including on-site random testing

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Primarily work independently on job sites in the Newcastle & Hunter region along with workshop based jobs
• Complete tasks and report back to the Service Project Supervisor
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Job planning
• Safe work practices
• Effective and courteous communication skills

The successful applicant must be fit for physical and manual work, committed to safe work practices, be reliable, able to get to and from work and pass a drug and alcohol screening, including on-site random testing.
