Our client, a leading recycling company based in the Northern Suburbs is now seeking a dedicated Maintenance Fitter to join the team. This role is a temp to perm for the right person.
Shift times – 7am to 3pm, 38hr week, Monday to Friday with O/T as required.
Duties will include:
- General Maintenance and repairs of parts, plants and machinery
- Breakdown and preventative Maintenance
- Planned and unplanned shutdowns
- Assist with Project work
Ideally, the successful applicant will possess the following attributes:
- Experience in working in a production/manufacturing environment
- Ability to work autonomously
- High attention to detail
- Experience in MIG and Stick welding (Basic Fabrication advantage)
- Forklift License with experience
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
- Focus on safety and commitment to OH&S principles
