The Role
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Handyperson to be based at John Palmer Public School on our NSW PPP Schools Contract. In this role you will be is responsible for co-coordinating the day-to-day delivery of the services within the school facility. Specifically the Handyperson will take full accountability for the delivery of Services and the completion of all assigned maintenance & cleaning tasks to achieve all contractual obligations around safety, performance, quality, communications and special school projects. The Handyperson is to ensure that all paperwork, work order dockets and purchase orders are completed and accurately fed back to the business within the KPI and contract timeframes
In order to hit the ground running in this position, you will have:
- Landscaping or grounds maintenance experience highly desirable.
- Experience in Handyman repairs,
- General understanding of OH&S regulations.
- Current driver's license.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
We are looking for an experienced person with the willingness to work flexible hours and the ability to manage their own time in order to meet deadlines.
You will be required to undergo a Working With Children Check and a pre-employment medical check as part of our recruitment process.
