A unique opportunity has arisen for experienced Security Officers to join Wilson Security in a hospital environment

We are currently seeking expressions of interest from qualified and experienced security officers for this health facility based at Geelong, and at McKellar Centre.

About the Role

These roles will be ideal for experienced Security Officers, who can think on their feet, have great problem solving skills and like a good challenge.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Access Control
  • Security Foot Patrols
  • General Customer Service
  • Responding to alarms
  • Traffic Control Duties
  • Responding to hospital codes
  • Provide assistance to Barwon health response team on code etc.
  • Escorts patients
  • Locking and unlocking of the BH facilities.
  • ED presence
  • Restrain patients

To apply for this role, you must have:

  • Current VIC Security licence
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised, with many other Health, Police and government agencies
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Highly desirable is experience in a hospital environment.
  • Be Physically Fit
  • Can work in high pressure environment
  • Experienced in conflict management
