• 6-month full time job with option for permanent employment
• Northern Beaches work location, with visa sponsorship

A well-established and reputable independent car repairer in Sydney is inviting Automotive Technicians, with strong diagnostics skills and experience, to join their team of European car experts.  Initially immediate requirement is for a 6-month full time work, with option for permanent employment.  TSS/482 work visa sponsorship is available if required. 

Role

You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing specialised car makes according to dealer and manufacturer's standards; meeting customers' quality expectations, assisting the Workshop Controller in overseeing junior technicians and apprentices on the job, as well as Service Advisors with customers' technical concerns.
 
 Requirements

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or its Australian equivalent trade qualification
• Specific car make training certification is a must i.e. Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Porsche
• Current NSW Motor Vehicle Tradesperson's Certificate (MVTC), or at least eligible to apply
• At least 5 years' experience as a fully qualified Automotive Technician/Motor Mechanic; maintaining and repairing any one or more of the following car makes: Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Porsche
• Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to consistently achieve efficiency targets
• Valid NSW or international driver's license
• High motivation to excel in challenging work situations
• Strong customer focus and receptiveness to new learning
• Positive teamwork orientation and outstanding work ethic
