About the Role:
MSS Security are looking for a new Senior Security Officer and if you believe you can show the following skills and attributes, we want to hear from you.
This is a unique opportunity for a security professional to join MSS Security, working with a prestigious client and managing a medium-sized security team. The successful candidate will also have the responsibility of assuming functional responsibility for overseeing Security operations on a rotating shift.
The primary role of the Senior Security Officer will include (but not limited to):
- Client and Customer liaison
- Report writing and Incident Management
- Staff training, coaching and mentoring
- Managing a team of employees in line with site SOP’s and KPIs
- Assessing all alarms, incidents or emergencies, then directing the appropriate response
- Risk identification and conflict resolution
- General security duties including control room and administration tasks
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

- Proven Leadership skills
- Personal flexibility and adaptability
- Personal initiative and drive
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Client-centric approach with a positive attitude to change
As a requirement of the position the successful candidate will:
- Have a Current Victorian Driver Licence
- Have a current Victorian Security Licence and First Aid certificate
- Have the right to work in Australia
- Be advanced in computer literacy
- Have previous Leadership or Supervisory experience
- Certificate 3 in Security including Control Room Operations
