The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of cleaning tasks together with your team. Deliver a high quality standard of work ensuring it is completed on time and to specification.

Initially the role will be setting up and managing a number of private hospitals. The role will be expanded to other client areas upon successful implementation of this initial project.

The business has continued to expand year on year after commencing 10 years ago. Thus there is opportunity for career progression for the right individual.

Duties will include:

• Leading a team of  experienced cleaners, whilst working in a hands on role.
•  Liaising with client service Managers and operations team to manage the contracts
• Setting up and start up new contracts
• Ensure work is carried out to comply with the Company's Policies, Quality, Environmental and OHS standards
• Training and supporting team members
• Conduct audits and report via an electronic system

The successful candidate will need to have:

• Ability to understand building specifications and ability to read basic floor plans
• Experience in leading a team of people in some capacity
• Previous supervisor experience in the  commercial or medical cleaning industry
• Previous experience in operating cleaning machinery and a good knowledge of chemical useage
• Ability to work unsupervised and ability to take initiative
• Well organised 
• Honest and willing to work with a team of staff with diverse culture
• Excellent communication skills: English - both written and verbal
• Be self motivated and a team player
• Current Victorian motor vehicle Licence
• Be an Australian resident or permanent working right
• Willing to work split shifts when required
