Site Operations Supervisor & Site Area Supervisor
We have 2 exciting contract roles available within the Site Operations team:
- Site Operations Supervisor (October 2018 to February 2019)
- Site Area Supervisor (October 2018 to February 2019)
Working as part of the Site Operations team responsible for delivering one of the largest events on a worldwide sporting calendar. The Site Supervisor is responsible for successfully delivering and providing overall planning, administrative support and site operations for the Event.
The Site Supervisor will achieve this through being a highly effective member of the managing project team, determining supply requirements, managing supply agreements, liaising between internal and external stakeholders and the provision of overall management throughout event cycle.
As the Site Supervisor, you will support our team in the following key areas:
- Business Planning
- Budget & Financial
- Project Management & Administration
- Supplier Management
- Event Construction
- Facilities and Infrastructure
- Overlay and Design
- Event Partners and Activations
- Procurement
- Environmental, Health and Safety Responsibilities
To be successful in this role you’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Experience with trades and site building and construction work (essential)
- Valid current Victorian Drivers licence & current Forklift licence (desirable)
- Three + years’ experience working in event construction at a major outdoor event - desirable.
- Tertiary qualification in related field – Construction Management / Building & Construction / Engineering / Architecture / Industrial Design - desirable.
- Valid Construction Induction Card.
- A successful National Police Check & Working With Children Check
- Positions in this area are physically demanding and all team members are required to adhere to safe working procedure to ensure a smooth operation and delivery of all on-site activities.
