About the Role:
Our Client is looking for an experienced Fitter for work on their Hunter Valley mine site, to join the Infrastructure Team.
This position requires you to reside within 80km from site, therefore successful applicants must be local or willing to relocate.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will have over 4 years relevant experience in a similar role and environment which may include forklift maintenance & repairs (Toyota experience preferred), hydrocarbon experience with storage & dispensing facilities of oils and fuels, EWP's, workshop tooling, fuel farms & pumps. Hydraulic certification and experience is also highly advantageous for this role.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Certificate of Proficiency or NSW equivalent
- Working at Heights
- Drivers Licence
- Extra Low Voltage Electrical Training
Desirable Skills and willingness to obtain:
- Confined Space
- Forklift Ticket
- EWP Ticket
- Dogman Ticket
The successful applicant must be willing to undergo a pre-employment Coal Board Order 41 compliant medical.
