DGC Plumbing & Gas Pty Ltd is seeking a Plumbing Supervisor for our Perth branch for upcoming projects in the metropolitan area.
The successful applicant would need to have a sound knowledge of the Commercial & Residential Plumbing new work and maintenance work with a minimum of 5 years experience and be able to work within a small team.
The successful applicant must:
- be able to read specifications and have an understanding of plans and details on projects
- be able to identify and understand and comply with the project contractual obligations
- demonstrate the ability for planning projects (including Job Scheduling) to ensure construction projects are delivered within optimal timelines and budget
- be able to ensure process activities, including those of suppliers, subcontractors and consultants are implemented, co-ordinated and monitored so as to meet contractual requirements
- be a good communicator of construction requirements and project objectives to project personnel and must maintain clear communication with the Project Manager(s)/Supervisors and key stakeholders.
- ensure project controls and reporting responsibilities are complied with
- demonstrate the ability to manage the relationship between DGC and subcontractors to ensure company objectives are met.
- demonstrate commitment to OSH&E through, personal example, leadership and participation in monitoring of established working practices for both staff and subcontractors.
- have a valid Drivers Licence and current White Card.
