About the business and the role
Australian Food Corporation Pty Ltd is one of Australia's leading food processing plants. AFC is situated at Coominya, a 30 minute drive north of Ipswich, located in the Shire of Somerset.
AFC is owned by Keystone Foods, a global manufacturer of food products and custom distributor to the food industry in 14 countries around the world.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The successful applicant will need to be a Trade Certified Maintenance Fitter & Turner with competency in welding. Main activities include service and repair of plant machinery, fabrication and to effect mechanical repairs as required. Further training will be given in other areas for a suitable applicant.
It would be advantageous for the applicant to hold either / or restricted electrical or refrigeration certification.
The positions involve rotated shift coverage for afternoon and weekend work. Your ability to work unsupervised, trouble shoot and problem solve, will assist you to become an integral member of our team.
