2XM Recruit have an exciting position available with a global organisation who are at the forefront of HVAC Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology. In this role you will be responsible for installation, scheduled servicing and reactive maintenance to HVAC systems predominantly within Rail / Transport / Industrial, along with the heavy machinery sector.
The successful candidate will be required to have a minimum of 3 - 5 years post trade industry experience over which time they have developed a strong in depth knowledge of commercial and industrial Air Conditioning/Refrigeration with the ability to solve technical issues in a timely manner. You will also be required to attend sites for scheduled servicing and breakdowns in the Port Hedland area.
The role offers a fantastic work / life balance in an area which often drives a 7 day working week! This role will have you doing a 40 - 50 hour week, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime, meaning family comes first!
Experience Required
- 3 - 5 Years Minimum HVAC experience.
- Are comfortable at working autonomously and interdependently to complete all industry associated tasks.
- Take pride in their work as a tradesmen and a person who thrives at completing tasks to a high standard.
- People who are happy to adapt there existing skill set and knowledge to learn new industry related skill sets, techniques and challenges.
- Have a stable work history.
- Relevant Industry certifications
- Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Trade Certificate is mandatory
- Restricted A Grade Electrical License
- Arctick Refrigerant Handling License
- Experience in undertaking field service work
- Rail / Transport / Heavy Industrial Experience
- Fault Finding
- Must be a team player
- Strong PLC and Inverter knowledge
- Ability to work to strict timeframes and schedules
- Well presented with strong communications skills
- Strong documentation
