About the Role
The Electrical Fitter will contribute to warehouse productivity and operational outcomes through the effective management of the machinery and equipment life-cycle, ensuring site assets are safe, efficient and fit for purpose. You will demonstrate understanding of operational functions including:
- Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Occupational Health & Safety Principles
- Lean Principles
- Quality Assurance
- Preventative Maintenance
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and undertake repairs/upgrades appropriately across all Endeavour Foundation Victorian sites
- Ensure awareness and identification of machine breakdowns identifying core issue, and undertake appropriate repair activates
- Proactively survey equipment to enable optimal output of production and identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement
- In conjunction with the Victorian Commercial Manager, plan the procurement and commissioning of site equipment and machinery
- Contribution to site continuous improvement strategies
- Understand the roles impact on the execution of strategy, policy and business plans for the division and/or business unit
Skills required for the Role:
- Demonstrated competence in technology literacy and in particular applications that are relevant to the role
- Demonstrated problem solving skills to successfully identify problems develop solutions and implement these using a logical and systematic approach
- Electrical License
Prior to commencing with Endeavour Foundation you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History check. Depending on the role you will hold or be willing to obtain a positive notice from Disability Services (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue card).
