We are looking to appoint an Aviation Contract Manager in Cairns. Our Management and APO teams are well supported through our various best practice training programs from around the globe and our experienced leadership team. The role reports directly to the Brisbane-based Key Account Manager and will be responsible for the management and supervision of the security contract in Cairns Airport and the overall relationship with the Cairns Airport Operator and Transport Security Industry partners.

The Contract Manager will ensure that the customer's needs are accurately understood, delivering an outstanding security service in alignment with performance targets and compliance to contractual and regulatory obligations.

Minimum Criteria for the Aviation Contract Manager role

• Strong leadership and decision making skills.
• Experience in providing solutions based on our client’s needs and a commitment to proactively managing the delivery of organisational and client performance outcomes.
• Confident verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels.
• Excellent organisational, problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Experience in security management or an aligned function. (desirable)
• Technically competent with extensive experience in a variety of software systems and databases.
• Proven large team management and delivery of professional development skills.
• Highly developed customer service skills.
• A comprehensive understanding of Aviation Transport Security Legislation. (desirable)
• A proactive approach to task allocation, monitoring and completion.
• A high standard of presentation and grooming.
• Ability to obtain an ASIC.
