We are currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Field Service Technician to service the greater Sydney region, with the base being in Regents Park.
The overall scope of the role is to carry out servicing and repairs to customer and company owned Elevated Work Platform units and lighting towers in the field as well as in the workshop when requested.
The role will be responsible for but not limited to the below:
- Providing breakdown assistance, routine services and on-going maintenance to our existing and expanding customer base.
- Carry out inspections, servicing and repairs of elevating work platforms and lighting towers
- When attending to customer's sites make every effort to repair machines on site limiting the need to transport the machines off site
- Be available to travel including overnight accommodation when requested
- Completing all appropriate paperwork and inspection forms required by Australian Standards and also by customer and/or site requirements
You will be a part of a dynamic team dedicated and driven to ensure all internal and external customers are dealt with promptly and professionally.
The ideal applicant will have experience in the fields of automotive or heavy machinery electronics, mechanics, diesel mechanics or hydraulics preferably from within the Elevated Work Platform or related industry.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a current driver's licence
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be well presented - neat and tidy
- Be self motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
- Have the ability to make on the spot decisions when required
- Be highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
