TDK Electrical is a rapidly growing business looking to expand its small team to accommodate the needs of a diverse client base working in a variety of areas, including commercial, residential, construction, maintenance and solar.
We are looking to employ several easy going and friendly people with good communication skills on a permanent full-time basis to grow with our business in a range of roles as follows:-
Senior Electrician:
Senior Electrician applicants should:-
* hold an A Grade Practitioners licence;
* have a good working knowledge of up to date standards;
* have a minimum of 3 years' experience post apprenticeship;
* hold a valid manual driver's licence;
* hold a valid white card;
* have the ability to work independently and unsupervised, whilst also being able to work as part of a team and supervise/mentor unskilled staff;
* having your own tools is desired, but not essential; and
* experience with solar installations is desired, but not essential.
Electrician:
Electrician applicants should:-
* hold an A Grade Practitioners licence;
* hold a valid white card;
* have a good working knowledge of up to date standards;
* have the ability to work independently and unsupervised, whilst also being able to work as a part of a team and provide guidance to unskilled staff;
* post apprenticeship experience of 1 year is desired, but not essential;
* having your own tools is desired, but not essential; and
* a manual driver's licence is desired, but not essential.
Trades Assistant:
Employment of a Trades Assistant is with the view of continuing on to work as an Electrician with TDK post apprenticeship, applicants should:-
* be in the 4th year of an Electrical apprenticeship;
* hold a valid white card;
* have the ability to be a team player and take direction; and
* a manual driver's licence is desired, but not essential.
The successful applicants should possess:-
* good verbal and written communication skills;
* a commitment to producing quality work;
* a commitment to safety and good work practices;
* be willing to work overtime from time to time;
* be willing to travel intrastate from time to time; and
* be willing to submit to a Police Check and Working with Vulnerable Persons check.
We are seeking an immediate start, but can be flexible for the right candidates.
We offer above award wages, uniforms and a great workplace culture. Wages will be negotiated with each individual successful applicant. In the case of the Senior Electrician role a vehicle and phone are on offer. In the case of all other roles transport from job to job during the day is on offer, however depending on the successful applicants locality it may be necessary to make your own travel arrangements to/from our workshop or a designated meeting point each day.
