Our client is a National industry leader and Tier One Electrical Contractor providing their clients with exceptional electrical, telecommunications, security and fire services across the commercial, construction and industrial sectors.
As the company continues to experience consistent growth, there is a new career opportunity for an experienced Technician to join the Security Division based in Brisbane.
Primary Objective
This is the perfect position for a highly motivated Security Technician, this is a diverse position and best suited to an ambitious tradesman who is technically minded and enjoys developing customer relationships.
Strong technical aptitude, excellent time management, strong computer and an exceptional standard of customer service and communication skills are a necessity. You will be responsible for ensuring all assigned tasks are executed in accordance with the company’s implementation project methodology.
- Installation, service and maintenance of monitored security alarm systems
- Install, program and commission intercom and access control systems
- Install, service and maintenance of CCTV and IP surveillance systems, including running of cable, fit offs, testing and commissioning
- Assist with the design, planning and integration of various security systems
- Perform maintenance security service work on alarm, intercom, access control and surveillance systems
- Ensure a high quality of workmanship while maintaining company standards, complying to all OHS and legislative requirements

The Candidate
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Technician who is career focused and interested in playing a critical part in the continued growth of the company.
- Current QLD Driver License
- Current QLD Security License
- Open Telecommunications Cabling License
- Construction Industry White/Blue Card
- Experience working on commercial, construction and government alarm, access control, CCTV and IP Camera systems
- Demonstrated ability to fault find, troubleshoot and problem solve
- Strong working knowledge and compliance to both OHS and Industry regulations
