Due to significant growth we are currently looking to recruit Trades Assistants positions. This is a full time position and will be located on a dedicated sites in Brisbane.
The Role
Reporting to the Account Manager, you will primarily be responsible for providing a variety of services in areas such as general maintenance both internally and externally on dedicated sites. This position will also be responsible for tasks such as disposal of onsite rubbish, replacement of light bulbs and general appliance hardware. This role may also provide support to licenses plumbers, electricians as required.
You will have experience:
- Working with facility managers to ensure a fast and efficient approach is maintained with regard to general maintenance
- Managing the appearance and upkeep of the facilities and escalating any specific requirements that are a licensed trade specific task
- General maintenance both internally and externally within dedicated sites
You will possess,
- A proactive, hands on nature,
- Be mechanically minded
- Demonstrate experience working as a handyman, trades assistant or general hand
- WWC and Police Check (or willing to obtain this)
- Able to obtain a ASIC pass (clean Drug and Alcohol test)
- Current manual drivers license and own vehicle dependant on location
- Good verbal communication
- Typically 2-3 years in a similar role
