At Electricians on Call, we're looking for a confident A Grade Electrician to join our team.

We're searching for someone who can communicate and liaise effectively with team members and new and existing clients, assist with leading a small team, training and mentoring Apprentices and be able to run jobs from start to finish whilst meeting deadlines.

If you are the right person for this role, you will have high standards, a professional attitude, be highly organised with a good attention to detail and be able to work in the field both independently and as an efficient team member.

You will describe yourself as being reliable, well presented and consistent. On top of this, you will be self-starting with a positive 'can-do' attitude and be driven.

In this position, you will be comfortable and experienced in working in a fast-paced work environment, be comfortable multi-tasking and handling many competing demands at once, yet stay calm and composed.

You will be comfortable in communicating with Tradespeople, Facilities Managers and Property Managers alike.  You'll be skilled at building relationships, making quick decisions and will show initiative in everything you do. The right person will gain loyalty from our clients and other team members, while attaining the best outcome for the business.

A key part of the role will be representing Electricians on Call in a professional manner. For this reason, you will have good interpersonal and communication skills, take pride in your work and appearance and ability and commitment in delivering superior customer service.

Reporting to the Director you'll be involved in a range of work that includes:

• Solar Power Installations both Residential & Commercial PV Grid connect & Battery ranging from 5kw-400kw
• Servicing/upgrading of Solar PV systems 
• Commercial Maintenance
• Residential Installations and Maintenance
• Retail Installations and Maintenance

You will hold the following:

• Electrical A Grade Trade Qualification
• Have at Least 5 years + experience as an A Grade Electrician
• Hold a current Victorian Manual driver's license
• Working at heights certificate
• Hold a current Victorian OHS card
• Have own tools

Due to predicted significant growth with Solar Power in 2018, this position is best suited to someone who has Solar Install experience.
