About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a suitably qualified individual to join our manufacturing team the role of CNC milling setter and operator. This position is a full time role with work hours consisting of Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with the opportunity of overtime available as needed.
Duties and responsibilities
- Using FANUC controllers to program and set CNC milling machines
- Preparation and manual loading of raw materials
- Quality control of finished products to a high standard
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe workspace
Skills and experience
- Qualified fitter and turner or relevant comparable experience
- Experience using CNC mills and a 5 axis mill would be highly advantageous
- Strong communication skills
- Work well in a team environment
- Ability to work independently
