About the business and the role
We are an established, growing shopfitting and cabinetry company looking for an experienced cabinet/kitchen installer. We are located close to the M4 motorway and Emu Plains train station. We provide shopfitting and cabinetry services for large supermarket chains, liquor outlets, pet stores, department stores and small frontage stores, as well as residential projects. We have a great team culture and enjoy a couple of social events throughout the year to ensure a good work/life balance.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities;
- Minimum 3 years experience installing cabinetry in various environments
- Minimum 3 years experience in supermarket fitout
- Relevant qualifications
- White card
- Driver's licence - truck licence a huge advantage
- Has their own tools
- Efficient worker who takes pride in their work
- Pays attention to detail
- Has a positive attitude, is honest, reliable and is a team player
- Willing to work away from home and at night
- Looking for a long term career, not just a job
- Truck licence and/or forklift licence an advantage
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, we require a reliable, trustworthy person with a driver's licence, their own tools, PPE and a minimum of 3 years experience (3rd year apprentices or higher qualification). The successful candidate will take pride in their work and craftsmanship, will have considerable experience and knowledge of the industry and be able to work away from home, at night and on weekends.
