Whyalla Hose & Fitting Services over the past 23 years has developed a broad capability for the repairs of all types of mechanical work. Although a small engineering firm, we have an impressive team of mechanically minded people, dedicated to providing high-quality mechanical service and refurbishment to OEM standards.

Due to an increase in demand of work within the region, Whyalla Hose & Fitting Services is seeking qualified Mechanical Fitters, with full-time positions available after initial 3-month probation period.
If you are looking for a change, tired of shift work, this could be the position for you.

Required Qualifications:

• Trade (Fitting/Mechanical) Qualification
• Construction Industry White Card

Skills & Experience:

• Reading & interpreting engineering drawings
• Industrial power transmission experience
• Mechanical spares disassembly & assembly
• Hydraulic Hose experience
• Laser Alignment
• Hydraulics & Pneumatics experience
• Bearing technology and maintenance

Key Criteria:

• A safety-first focus
• Quality driven
• Previous experience in mining, oil & gas, manufacturing space or similar
• Excellent interpersonal skills
