About you:
  
You are first and foremost a problem solver; pulling machines apart and figuring out how to fix them is something that truly excites and motivates you. You work through problems with a methodical, careful, and structured approach, and are the go-to person when a creative solution needs to be found.
  
Now that you have a few years of mechanical/electrical experience under your belt, you are eager to work with sophisticated machinery that can’t simply be fixed with a step-by-step manual. Perhaps you have recently finished studies in engineering or come from an electrical or mechanical trade background.  
  
Being self-motivated and extremely organised; you thrive in an environment where you are challenged daily, have variety, and are out on the road connecting with your customers. You have a natural ability to communicate, educate and consult at all levels to create high-quality, value-driven relationships.
  


About the role:

Working out in the field, there are 4 key areas where you will add significant value; Installation, Service & Maintenance, Breakdowns and OH&S. Some of your main responsibilities include;

• Creating value driven and lasting relationships with your customers
• Conducting routine maintenance for each machine throughout QLD and interstate
• Attending breakdown inspections, determine the problem and overcome it
• Fault find and diagnose the problem either phone or face to face
• Ensure customers are well informed, up to date with progress and followed up on
• Ordering parts, requesting sub-contractors, electricians, advise next steps and then debrief someone more experienced or the service manager
• Assisting with conducting pre-site inspections and oversee delivery
• Assisting with set up and assembly, involving levelling and alignment of machines
• Managing stakeholders and training end users on how to use machines

  

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical trade; electrical and mechanical experience
• Heightened problem-solving skills
• Strong commitment to the end user and customer experience
• Current and unrestricted Drivers licence
