ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN - I&E
We are currently seeking a day shift - instrumentation & electrical technicians to be responsible for maintenance, service and repair of fixed plant & equipment on a 24/7 continuously operated process plant.
The job location for the position is a plant in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne.
Those who want to do only shut down works may also apply.
Your duties will include
• Maintenance, servicing and repair on plant and equipment.
• Minimising down time thro fault finding, diagnostics and repair.
• Shut down works.
• Instrument calibration.
• Installing and commissioning including modifications and design changes to control and instrumentation.
• Plant isolation in line with your authority level for maintenance.
• Working to OHS standards set and permit systems.
• Good record keeping and maintenance of company MMS system.
• Available for afterhours call outs and overtime.
Qualifications and experience required
• Certificate IV in instrumentation.
• Electrical licence.
• Confined space and EWP & WP ticket.
• Food or dairy industry experience.
• Self-starter with can-do attitude.
• Good communication skills.
